So I currently have an Apexi N1 3" Exhaust for my talon, and i wanted to know when it really becomes a restriction cause of the 2 resonators inside of it. Everyone talks about how it necks down too like 2" in the resonators, idk if this is true, so I'm thinking of having bigger resonators put in it or something along those lines if need be.

I ran it in my 16g car to 28psi with no problems. I would recommend cutting out resonators and putting a straight pipe if your worried about it, but is not nessesary.

It is true. I wouldn't put it as a priority until I was making enough power for it to really be holding me back. If you were round 300hp I'd start thinking about a solution.

People still make power with these even if they're a lame product.

Whish I knew for sure about the GSX system, but if its the same as the GST, its defently a restriction if you have a setup that makes power in the 6500+rpm range.

On may car I picked up 45-50hp & ft/lbs in the 6500+rpm range by switching from the N1 to a real 3" system. This is with identical boost (had to reduce boost as it jumped 3psi or so after the switch). The top end pull of the car was like night & day difference. I was probably around something like 360-390whp at the time.

I found out that the AWD N1 is alot better than the FWD N1. Someone on one of the other sites did some testing, and found out that the AWD system doesn't have the restrictions that the FWD does. good to know

Links to the information? AFAIK, they're the same but if I can see it with my own eyes I'll become a believer.
