High flow cat

Unless your exhaust already has a test pipe that is separate from the down pipe, you won't find a high-flow cat that will just bolt on your 1g. You'll need to cut off the end of the down pipe to make room for the cat. The best way then would be to weld flanges onto the cat and down pipe so the cat just bolts in between the down pipe and mid pipe. This will also make it easy to swap to a test pipe after emissions if you so desire. As far as where to get one; you can find them a lot of places. I've seen Magnaflow high flow cats on Ebay for pretty cheap so that may be your best bet.

Do any vendor sell any 3inch high flow catalytic converters or a any store that sells them for a 1g. Need one to pass emissions.

RRE sells a bolt in high flow cat for $190 http://www.roadraceengineering.com/eclexhaust.htm

JNZ sells a 3" cat for $110 which can be welded in or you can weld the flanges onto it to make it bolt on. Vibrant Round Metal Core Catalytic Converter, 3" : JNZ Tuning

MAP sells a couple for $179, same thing though, either weld them in of weld your own flanges on. http://www.maperformance.com/dsm-exhaust-high-flow-cats/

Horsepower Freaks has a 3" Magnaflow hi-flow cat for $72 that you can weld in or weld flanges on. http://www.horsepowerfreaks.com/partdetails/Magnaflow/Exhaust/Catalytic_Converters/Universal/9980 and the flanges for $25 each: http://www.horsepowerfreaks.com/partdetails/Vibrant/Exhaust/Exhaust_Flanges/T304_Stainless_Steel/10997

Here is the 3" 2 bolt flange from STM for $23 each: http://www.streettunedmotorsports.com/diy/diy_flanges.htm

I would either get the bolt on RRE cat or if you want to save a few bucks, the Magnaflow cat and 2 flanges to have welded on so that you can swap the cat and test pipe back and forth.

Hope this helps!

I ended up getting the magnaflow hi-flo cat myself. Just cut out a flange that matched my downpipe flange and welded that onto the cat. Then they both matched. Obviously if you dont have the tools or knowledge this is hard. But I'm sure any exhaust shop can do it for you fairly cheap maybe 50$

I just bought a magnaflow cat. My exhaust isn't on my car right now so I was just gonna cut off my flanges and weld the v-bands on their so I dont have to worry about lining up the flanges. I was just wondering will the V-bands be fine on the exhaust
