I have a 6 bolt complete motor in my 2G. I have the fuel pump rewired with the 14b turbo on there. Some people tell me that the 2G pump rewired will keep up with the turbo at 18-20 psi. Others say that if I go above 16-17 psi I will be running lean and risk blowing the motor. I plan on getting the Wal-mart 255 in a week or so, but I am still curious about who's right and who's wrong...any comments?

On race gas I ran the stock 2g pump to a 12.8 at 106 without any sign of running out of fuel, at 24 psi, not rewired. Pump gas though is a whole other story. ;) With a 190, 450s, and your typical mods on the 14b I couldnt get over 16psi on a cold day, 17 on a warmer day. Have to do some math to see if the stock pump can keep up with 450s though before using those numbers...
