1g with 2g exh mani.....turbo options

I have a 1g talon and was thinking about getting a 2g exhuast manifold. With this setup will i need to pick a 2g turbo?(t-28,ect.) or still look around for normal 1g turbos(16g,ect.)And if getting a 1g turbo, do i need the 2g install kit?

The manifold doesn't affect turbo fitment.

Do more research before you spend any money!

Ehhh... yea you might want to do more research before getting a turbo.

If you upgrade a lot you will need a better intercooler, some sort of tuning (s-afc), fuel pump/maybe injectors depending on how far you go.

Basically the 2g manifold is about the same size as the 1g on the outside, it's just the inside that the 2g manifold is much much better. This is just like you severely porting out the 1g manifold, only it comes that way stock with room to be ported. You will use the basic 1g install kit (if the kind of turbo you are getting even needs a kit for the 1g) and everything will remain the same.

What mods do you have before you start thinking about a bigger turbo?
