questions about o2 housing and things like that...

I'm a bit confused about the o2 eliminator housings, ported o2 housings, o2 dump tubes and stuff like that. Would someone please explain to me how each one is different and the benefit of each. Thanks

since i see that you live only like 15min. from my house i'll help you out.

o2 eliminator- i'm not positive but i think that is when the downpipe connects directly to the turbo, therefore eliminating the o2 housing. i forgot who exactly makes the o2 eliminator downpipe though.

ported o2 housing- this is just a ported out o2 housing, many people sell them.

o2 dump- this is when the wastegate opens it lets the exhaust straight out into the atmosphere(very loud) instead of going through your exhaust.

any one of these will help to eliminate boost creep, but i think either the o2 eliminator or o2 is the best.

Hahn racecraft makes a nice O2 Eliminator downpipe. I think ATR makes one too but not sure.

And RnR Racing makes one too, as does DSM Performance (aka Extreme Turbo).
