I swapped my N/A 4G63 for a 4G63. The engine had about 96,000 on it when i put it in with a rebuilt head(no special things done to it, just rebuilt) The Problem i am having now is that:

1. It seems as though i am leaking oil on the front case. I toke the front case off when i toke the motor to do the swap (i had a broken bolt where the t-belt tensior is so i toke onff the front case to get the bolt out)
The front case was tourqued down correctly and the gasket was replaced and sealed. If you have any ideas where it could be leaking from let me know

2. I also may have a SLIGHT leak on the valve cover, BUT the oil seems to be on my O2 sensor housing and my manifold more so than right there. I figure that it is leaking down but i never find oil ON the valve cover just around there. I am planning on re-HELI COILING the head to valve cover threads so that i cann see if the cover is just not sealing right.

3. I have the Famous Idle waver, i relaced my O2 sensor and it didnt help at all. I have found a little oil residue in my various intake pipes and was wondering if my turbo could be leaking. Once in a while i WILL find a little oil residue in the intake of the turbo.

4. Whenever I clean the underside of the car the oil residue just comes back but i can never find the source, If anyone has any ideas where to look. I've checked everywhere i can think of and have gone as far as resealing my oil cap and my dipstick, still no dice.

ANY HELP IS APPRECIATED>

Don't trip...

First of all, unless you have some type of oil catch tank, you're gonna have some oil residue inside of you intake pipes - this is normal.
Your intake also serves as a engine vacuum by factory spec, and
should remain that way, but a greddy or cusco oil catch tank should be in between the engine and intake to keep the intake piping clean.

I have some oil build up on the front of my engine also, it's normal. Unless your missing oil from oil change to oil change you don't have to worry.

Go grab some simple green and a steam buggy and clean it up if it's
bothering you.

same here, oil leaks from the vc and on the front of the engine down to the pan. I never can figure out for sure where it is coming from, but it is too little to worry aobut (the dipstick always looks the same).
