Best place to send a head to get rebuilt/ported?

Where would you recommend I send a 2g head to get ported and rebuild. I think stage 2 is what you would refer to it as. I see turbotrix racing is $600 for the work. Is there anywhere cheaper that is of good quality?

And where should I purchase a 6 bolt block with 1g "big" rods and 95 or EVO pistons? Once again looking for one of the cheapest places, but yet dont want to skimp out on quality so much...

Im just gettin sick and tired of fixing one oil leak, and then comes another so the hell with it, Im at least pulling the head..

hell, send it here. i ported my manifold and head, put in new SS valves, springs, retainers, keepers, camshafts and cam gears, all in my shed. nothing beats the price and quality of DIY (when you know what you're doing)

but if you're going for a 6 bolt block, you might as well skip the 2g head work and do it all on a 1g head. 1g block 1g head

Best f|_|cking work I've seen on a DSM head, fastest turnaround for a DSM head I've seen, and by damn, the best prices around.

In the above directory, you will see a 1g race head with 1mm over Ferrea valves, along with a rebuilt 1g head (5-angle, new guides, seals, etc). Dale did all the work, had super nice communication, and I think I got it back right around the 2 week mark.

How many of these places have flow benches?

How many of these guys show dyno proven horsepower?

How many of these guys show dyno proven horsepower over some of the other "reknowned" head porters in the DSM field?

Sorry, some of the vendors you guys have mentioned are good guys, but I wouldn't trust just anyone for head work. Especially someone who bead blasts heads.

Alot of the prices make me sick too.

Took me a long time to find someone I was comfortable getting a head done up by, and he's one of two people I would trust.

I shopped around a bit and settled on Forrester Racing Heads. I wanted the intake manifold he manufactures and needed a new head, so went with his stage II head. It should be an awesome combination.
