Engine Swap???

Hi a friend of mine has a 96 GST and was wondering if he could swap his engine into a 98 GSX. The reason he wants to do this is because he has trouble betting traction on starts. He asked me and I didn't have a clue so I'm hoping to get help from you guys. If you can do it what else do you need to do? Thanks for the help.

yes, its pretty easy, since it is the same engine. check out www.vfaq.com for information on the differences of engines throughout the years.
