im getting a new fuel pump from bushur, should i also rewire the pump when i get the new one. or will i be fine not rewiring the pump?
 
You don't have to rewire it. I have a walbro 255HP not rewired and my car is fine.

You don't have to rewire it, but it is a good idea. I would recommend to rewire. It takes a whole 5 minutes and costs an extra $10 from the store ($30-50 if you chump out and buy the rewire kit).
