I am thinking of running this setup for the bottom end of a stock 4g63 block from a 97 gsx.

Pistons: JE Pistons (9.0:1 compression and .02 over)
Rods: Eagle Rods (Will get shotpeened and polished)
Crank: Knife edged and balanced crankshaft from Buschur Racing
Bearings: New stock bearing or aftermarket bearings like Clevite
Flywheel: Fidanza Flywheel
Bolts: ARP bolts used in all spots

I was just looking for any expierence with any of these componets or this setup, and for any cons to it. Also will I have and problems running the JE Pistons that are .02 over when I use them with a stock bore block and will the 9.0:1 compression ratio hurt me in anyway.

Thanks in advance for all the feedback,
Bill

you will need to get the block machined to the same bore as the pistons, as for JE pistons, if your driving the car on the street often i would suggest Ross or wiseco pistons

the higher compression will give you better throttle response
