It finally got a little hot and muggy here in Minnesota so my GF made me turn on the AC. When I turn it up all the way, my stock temp gauge started rising. I then quickly shut the ac off, and it started to go back down. Is this common on a hot day with a FMIC? Anyone know a way to help it? I've got a bottle of Redline Watter Wetter in it. Any other suggestions?

I had the same problem in Eagan while running with a WS6...... car temp went up...... for about an hour until I parked at Midway to watch the cars.....

Scared me as I just finished replacing the hose's, thermostat... thought maybe my overflow tank was empty again which is what cause my last over heat.

Well as long as you put the Redline Water Wetter stuff in to prevent corroding you can run less coolent and more water, try putting in 25% coolent (orange), 75% water, and of course the bottle of Redline. Other stuff to help out but more expensive would be to buy the FAL slim fan kit and/or the Fluidine radiator.

I have no problem in over 100 degrees with FMIC. But I don't have AC or an AC fan.
