My turbo stopped working on my 2g fwd tsi so should i get the Mitsu 16g or Garret t-28 for my 95 talon and will i need to upgrade any thing like injectors or fuel pump? With the 16 g u have to buy an install kit but the garret is a direct bolt on i think??

If I were you, I would get the Garret. It's a pretty quick spool up, and much better than the stock t25. Also, I know some guys running the 16 and they are using an AFC and bigger injectors to get the most out of the turbo, where the t-28 doesn't really need a fuel management system to get the most out of it.

Personally I like the 28 better. I recently installed an AGPT28 on GSXCTY's car, and had a chance to drive in it. It pulls very hard for such a small looking turbo. Install is much easier(same as the stock one). For the money, I dont think there is a better deal going.

I'm not really quite to sure by what you mean by when you say that the Big28 or T28 doesn't need a fuel management system, and or bigger injectors to get the most out of it, but I can tell you that there is no way in hell that I could run 22psi on stock 450's with my Big28. With the Big28 you definitly need 550's and a S-AFC to get the most out of it. If what your saying is true then I wasted about $600 dollars on my 550's and S-AFC and so did a bunch of other people. Don't take me wrong I'm just trying to understand where your coming from, especially when your profile says that you have a T3/T4 50 trim with 720's.

As long as you keep your boost at a safe level, maybe 14 to 15 psi, you SHOULD be able to get away with out injectors or S-AFC with the Big28 until you can afford to upgrade your fuel system. I did!

Yeah I wasnt planning on going more boost than that i have a mbc but i think 15 psi is good enough for me as long as it runs good i can always get injectors and stuff later if i decide to go up to 20 psi

Yes, this is the way I should have worded it. I know a few guys running good times with the gt28 with stock injectors and no afc. I don't think the big28 and the gt28 are the same turbo man. I'm pretty sure the big28 is bigger than the gt28 which he was asking about if I'm not mistaken.

The turbos are different but the output is close enough that you would still want upgraded injectors, fuel pump, and some type of fuel management if you intend on running over say 15lbs of boost.

I second that!

If i get the t-28 that is a direct replacement for the t-25 but what about the oil and water lines??

The stock oil and water lines will bolt right on the 28. A direct replacement is just that. You dont ahve to physicaly change anything to bolt it on. I would recommend getting a ss oil line to go with it. makes installation a bit easier, and the braided stainless line is much better.
