Head Gasket

Hey peoples, My motor gave way after 140K and i'm getting it rebuilt.
I'm going with JE 9:1 pistons on early 1G peened Rods and full engine balance. What would be my best bet as far as head gaskets go? stock metal or is there someting better that is reasonably priced?

you can go with the stock metal headgasket from conicelli's for $65v or 4 layer metal head gasket from www.diamondstarmotorsport.com for $89. It's personal prefference, again.

I'm not a big personal fan of the Mitsu 4 layer metal, however they CAN seal well with a well decked block and head. I personally think you should give Cometic a try. Their gaskets so far are the best I have seen, and will be the one I am going to use.

My block is being bored 20 over and my compression will be 9:1- whats gonna be my best bet?

Give Magnus motorsports or Turbotrix a call... I think they both had them in stock last time I talked to them.
