still boost creep after external wg

hello everyone
ok so i went from internal to external wg to not have my 16g creeping to 20psi, it was runing fine the first 3 days after that, it start creeping to 17psi, and it runs like crap when ever it feels like it, any idea? anything i did wrong?

hey it looks like you have an apexi turbo back so thats not the problem and did you do any porting to the 16g and o2 housing? and what did you do with the 20g turbo if you have a 16g

heyy , i have a evo3 o2 housing and manifold, also 16g is ported, 20g just got sold over the weekend.
 
do you get the wastegate brand new or used? what size is it 44mm? it seems like the wastegate isnt working right? was it creeping with the internal wastegate?and is your wastegate dumped into the at. or recur. in the the exhuast? i remember you tlking about recur. it back into the exhuast. the reason why your getting the creep is the wastegate holev isnt big enough so you might need a bigger wastegate. but im running a 57 trim at 20 psi on a 38mm wastegate and i never creep.
 
are you using the stock internal gate stilll....
 
woah the positive terminal on your battery is very close to the strut tower.. no battery clamp down bracket? no positive terminal cover? if the cross member is conductive and you hit a speed bump you could do some damage, or worse.. set your car on fire. that is if the strut tower is made out of conductive metal and grounds out the battery. check it out!

besides that, nice engine bay.. unique and clean.. the manifold is the worst part. Hmm a half radiator? hows that work for you?

yea i just got the braket for the battery thanks, the half radiator was a honda civic because the wastegate kept hiting the radiator.

U might wanna recirculate your bov, that could be part of the random running like crap symptoms you get.

i have a greddy intake pipe , its hard to recirculate bov, im looking to get something different.:D

Do you know what spring is in that wastegate?

im not sure, i bought it off this guy on the forum with a evo manifold, but i took it out and i got the o2 housing and manifold ported , solved the problem
went back with internal gate:thumb:
