Look around, I am sure you can find a FMIC with piping for cheaper.

With a bigger core than an APex'i and all the stuff for about 1200-1300.

NO WAY .... i have a custom spearco ... thats 28 by 10 by 3.5 thick... and all the pipes with the couplers cost me a grand ..... 1000 bucks and all that ... these greddy and apexi kits are small and not worth it ... nocturnal motorsports.com some of my friends email them

Right now I'm looking for a kit that will bolt up with minimal problems.

I would also like to have larger piping along with the insurance that the kit will allow for any possible future upgrading.

The RnR kit looks great.

Also, what is the purpose of the fan?

On the Canadian version of this site I can get the same intercooler for $1500 CAN$... So yes.. too expensive


And there is much better alternatives than using their upgraded UIC piping.. it is like $300 US... go get an RRE or Dejon Tools one for sub $100....

i say dont go with the apexi intercooler. i have one and it does work better than botht eh greddy large and smallIC's (i know because i tried them all out) but theres better ones out there. by the way, i got my apexi core for 250$ but then i had to buy end tanks. after everything was put together i ended up spending 375 for the complete FMIC and pipes that i put together. good luck.

RnR and IRC use the same Spearco 2-216 Core. They are both about the same price ($1K). Its bigger and cheaper than an Apex core.
