My melted piston and damage

Well I bought the car knowing there was no comp. in the 4th cyl. I kind of figured it was a hole in the piston top. This is just an excuse to rebuild and go with forged pistons. What do you think?

damn, that sucks. Is the damage to the wall repairable? or do you need a new block?

that'll come right out with a rag, some elbow grease and a good polishing wheel. same thing happened to me in december, went with some forged wiseco pistons, had the block bored .020 over. mine wasn't THAT bad, but my machinist said i could go .080 if i wanted to, so if you have to, you can always go way over and sleeve it
