Alright i just got done putting the new intake pipe and 14b on the car, now on the first drive out it sputters as soon as it hits boost. As long as i take it slow on the pedal, i can go as fast as i want, but as soon as the boost guage goes over 0, it bucks and sputters something terrible. I did a blt, checked the wires etc, but I'm out of ideas. Anybody else experienced this?

what is your wb telling you when this happens? It sounds like a classic boost leak, so I would double check that for sure.

Make sure all your vacuum hoses are connected to your fpr, bcs, etc. Make sure your plug wires are on tight, and they are not arcing across the valve cover.

you did the blt at the turbo inlet correct? that wouldnt tell you anything if there was a leak before the turbo. aka your new intake. make sure all the vacuum lines are connected and there are no leaks.

I agree with it possibly being a boost leak, but the turbo spools fine if i continue to push down on the throttle, so I know its not something with the rebuilt turbo. I threw on my spare maf sensor just for shits and gigs, checked all the vaccum lines, all my intercooler couplers are tight. Could it possibly have fouled a plug or something when i pulled the engine fuse so i could prime the new turbo? Im gona go check that at the moment and ill be back...

I don't know about a boost-leak. That seems to be what everyone jumps on when there's a WOT issue. I've had my fair share of boost-leaks, and I've never sputtered. I just ran pig-rich. I would be more concerned with your plugs/gap. How did you check your wires? Did you ohm out your coil-pack?

Sorry it took me so long to get back to ya guys, it was the plugs. When i bought the car it just had new plugs, so I never checked them, but they were the Bosch Platinums:notgood: I threw some NGKs in and she runs like a champ. The only way I can figure I fouled a plug was when I pulled the engine fuse to prime the new 14b, possibly it dumpede a bunch of fuel in the cylinders, but I'm not sure if even that happened because im not sure if the engine fuse runs the injectors as well maybe? I may just do wires while I'm at it as well. Thanks for all the suggestions.
