Getting a new exhaust and I was curious if I needed any gaskets or flanges. I am buying a new o2 housing, downpipe, and catback exhaust so if anyone knows if I need any bolts , flanges or gaskets.

it depends on what o2 housing, downpipe, and catback exhaust you get. let us know exactly WHAT you were getting and we'll get you taken care of as far as bolts, flanges, and gaskets go. :thumb:

damn your up early clicking around here...

id be quick to answer your questions but im at work and i can't measure my PR o2 housing outlet and show you the bolts you'll need to mount it to the dp. before i go to sleep tonight though, if someone hasn't already posted up and answered your question, ill get the measurements and the links to the gaskets you'll need. if you buy used you'll def. NEED to get new gaskets but new exhaust parts like these usually come with the gaskets. its just getting the bolts/nuts to get everything to fit together that takes a few trips to HDR (home depot racing) :thumb:

well don't everyone jump in and try to help out so i can get to bed early! geez. guess ill knock this out and get you headed in the right direction before i call it a night!
all this info depends on if you buy the exhaust parts new or used. buying used you'll have to go through and order this stuff but new parts usually come with all the gaskets and associated hardware to do the install.
sorry if this looks like a report, i need to do it for me or else ill lose track of where im at and ill repeat myself.
-PR o2 housing-
gaskets
inlet: (between turbo and o2 housing)
evo III o2 housing SS inlet gasket

outlet: (between o2 housing and dp)
evo III o2 housing outlet/downpipe gasket

hardware
(to attach the o2 housing to the turbo)
your stock o2 housing thats held on by (3) bolts and (1) stud/nut can be reused on your PR o2 housing so additional hardware isn't required here.

(to attach the o2 housing to the dp)
(2) grade 8 SS bolts
(2) SS lock washers
(2) SS nuts
this is where youve gotta take your own trip to HDR (home depot racing) since i don't know how long your bolts need to be. I suggest that you get grade 8 SS bolts (they are expensive compared to the other bolts there) and use lock washers with a nut.

-PR downpipe-
gasket (between dp and catback)
its a 3" dp so id go with this...
3" 2 bolt exhaust gasket (unless you buy new and it comes with it?)

hardware (to attach dp to catback)
(2) grade 8 SS bolts
(2) SS lock washers
(2) SS nuts

IM ASSUMING ITS A CAT DELETE DP

-thermal exhaust-
gasket(between the two sections of your catback exhaust)
its a 3" exhaust so id go with this... (your catback exhaust will be broken down into two sections, you'll use this in between the two)
3" 2 bolt exhaust gasket (unless you buy new and it comes with it?)

hardware (to attach the two sections of your catback exhaust)
(2) grade 8 SS bolts
(2) SS lock washers
(2) SS nuts

TOTAL
--gaskets--
(1) evo III o2 housing inlet gasket
(1) evo III o2 housing outlet/dp gasket
(2) 3" 2 bolt exhaust gaskets

--hardware--
(6) grade 8 SS bolts
(6) SS lock washers
(6) SS nuts

** NOTE **
all these numbers are assuming you don't have a catalytic converter and these parts arent provided with the parts when you order them new.

again, this is IF your buying used parts or if the manufacturer doesn't provide this stuff but they should. contact them first. heres the link where you can find any of the above gaskets, its RRE website... Road Race Engineering's 4G Eclipse Parts and Performance :ohdamn: its not really 4g eclipse parts either, its gaskets and flanges.

all the hardware ive ever needed for exhaust parts i leave up to HDR (home depot racing) its a secret though... :shhh:

Thanks gofer you were a lot of help. And just so you know its all going to be ordered new..that probably would have helped.

:p its cool, if you can afford spending 5 times as much for new than you would used then by all means. id contact punishment racing and thermal though to make sure what comes with the parts.
