Another down pipe ? for 2gs!

I know that punishment downpipes might be talked to death on this site, but hasn't really answer my question!
I'm looking into buying a punishment 3 inch down pipe. Now I was wondering with you 2g guys that have it. What did you do with the second o2?

Yah. I was thinking that but the downpipe part, but punishment doesn't have a bung for the o2 right!

I have this same downpipe. Bolted on perfectly fine. however, i had my flange cut off where the cat used to be and had it welded on to my greddy cat-back for exh leak-free insurance.
I would recommend this downpipe. It's a great product for it's price.

Stupid question. But if I buy wideband I wouldn't have to worry about the second o2 and then the punishment would be no problem right?

What are you trying to get at? The downpipe on a 2g doesn't have an 02 bung in it. There is one in the 02 housing, and one in the exhaust piping after where the cat would be.

Yes,just what he said^^^ the 2nd o2 is like a couple of inches behind the cat.I just bought the punshment dp and couldnt be happier.Perfect fit and a low price.I would deff. recomend this down pipe.It eliminates the cat completely too and I like that about it...

Ahh thanks for the peice of mind. I thought that the o2 sensor is mounted on the cat like civics. I've never really raised my car since I bought it bout 3k miles ago. And Im just going to change the oil tomorrow.
But the o2 location was my only worry. Since ya'll said it's after the cat. Then Im good to go. Thanks for the reply's yo!
