I was on extreme psi, when I came across the big t28 killer, was wondering if anyone had any links or any other info on this turbo or knows anybody using it & what mods would need to be done, please point me in the right direction, I am new to the dsm game & I am about to purchase my first awd talon, just trying to run 11's thank you

I doubt a big T28 will ever dip into the 11's. I think you need to set your sights higher.

somebody correct me on this?

Whats up Tony?
You don't remember when Loren ran a 11.8@119 at RCR with it?

I admit that the results aren't typical, if your goals are sub 12 you would find it easier with a larger turbo.

This is true , Loren put it down on that one.
Hey Brian, how much boost was Loren running on the Big28 when he did it ? I know it was posted somewhere , just could not find it ... I will. Of course all his supporting mods were there when he did it .... just curious as to how hard he had to push that poor thing to get a trap of 119 out of it.

Ya see you could take a stock 05200 (16G)
& put it on a car with all the supporting mods & do the samething. (people have)

How long would that turbo last pushing it that hard?

yeah thats very true but even I doubt Loren could get those same results 10 times in a row. I was thinking more of your typical DSMer not Lorens beast :D

Nobody has come close to that trap time without nitrous. I think that it was pretty deceiving when Loren ran that time. Alot of people went out and bought the Big28 thinking that it was a faster turbo that it is. The T-28 turbo's just cant put out that kind of power. The turbine housing is just too small. If you run a T-28 type turbo, I would expect only 105 trap times and 110 maxed out.

I think the Big 28 times more closely resemble the small 16 times. If you look at only the 2G times with the small 16g they look to be about the same as the B28.
