Can you name this turbo?

I am trying to figure out which turbo this is. The numbers on the turbo are 4g1, 90.8, and 49179-12000. The only thing I can find any reference to seems to be the 49179, but the 12000 part doesn't match up. A 49179-04000 is a TD06 20g. I would really appreciate any help!! Thanx!

A 20G would have "TDO6" on the compressor cover. My 14b has "TDO5" on it, and the number is 49178...etc. So I'm guessing it's a Mitsubishi turbo of some kind. Can you measure the compressor inlet size?

I don't have access to the turbo, but I have figured out that the 49179 means it is a TD06. The thing is huge, like near 25g size, but I have no idea what wheel is inside. It is really cheap, so I think I am going to get it. Worth a shot!

Mitsubishi turbo # 49179-04000 is a 17C Cyclone/Typhoon turbo. We can't use their turbine housing but if you swap a 7cm housing on there, it will bolt up. Keep in mind that the 17C turbo kinda sucks. It's an ok turbo if you keep it under 20psi. Anything above that, you go so far out of the comp. wheels efficiency range, the turbo completely sucks.

Searching for that 49179-12000 didn't get me anything, but I did find this:

I would guess that the -12000 means something along the lines of a 14cm2 housing or even a 17cm2 housing. Looks like the 49179 refers to the TD06 20G compressor housing, while the center cartridge is 12000 (which could refer to a 25G). Can't find a center cartridge number on a 25G yet.
