With my current mods listed (not much) what would be the next step for the most power other then upgrading the whole turbo. My 1/4 sucks ass and want to be able to drop it lower. Even with the current mods it should be below what it is. But now I want to know what would be the next step of improvement, and i'm not talking about thousands of dollars either. Thanks

From what I see on your mod list.

1. No IC pipes
2. Don't know what exhaust you have.
3. No ported exhaust manifold
4. No boost controller
5. No Fuel Pump.

No I'm saying none of those things are on your mod list and you can get them before even worrying about getting a whole new turbo.

Nah dude I said other then a turbo. Meaning I didn't want to upgrade it. I'm not looking at dropping all my money in to my engine but I do want to add some more speed to make up for all the "rice" mods that are just gonna slow me down. I was hoping for the next few things that would be most benificial to me at this point. Thanks

Exactly,

My list outlines all the bolt-ons you don't have or I didn't see in your mod list that don't involve upgrading the turbo.

1. Upgraded IC pipes
2. Full 3inch exhaust
3. Porting your exhaust manifold
4. Boost controller
5. Fuel Pump.

Alright man sounds good, but with a full 3" exhaust is that gonna cause any problems with the stock turbo, like boost creep and all. Someone told it would cause I was gonna order the 3" DP, port exhusat manifold and finish the rear section with 3".

I can't say for sure it won't but it didn't on my car.

i think you're the one bringing a negative attitude man... there's a guide on this site that says what you need> http://www.dsmtuners.com/tuning-guide/2gturbo/
the questions you're asking have been beaten to death and already answered in the thread without anyone getting mad.
take the advice you've been given, and shut your mouth unless you want somone to verbally kick your butt. :shhh:

#### you 2 man, i was asking from where I'm at what would be the most benificial next step, L2RTSiAWD answered the question just fine then this #### has to start in on me again. If its been beatin to death don't respond, I got the help I was looking for and didn't need either of you chiming in. JDMAWD is always talkin mad #### to me so get the #### 'out there' and don't in to #### that doens't involve you

my post

Don't know what you are all worked up about. You are one of the lucky individuals fortunate to have a major company back your car. why not use them:)

Don't even act like that wasn't intended to be a smart ass comments, your always talking down to me and ####in with me, all i'm tryin to do is tune my car the same as everyone else. Just cause I'm not as knowledgable on eninge mods and I've picked up sponsors for my exterior and interior mods doesn't mean #### against me. Anyway, most sponsors don't give you free ####, they give you phat discounts and free labor and all. So I still have to pay for part of the mods I put in my car just get a good hook-up.

i don't know guys, last time i checked, "honda" wasn't spelled the same way that "eclipse" is...

dude, if you want to cop such an attitude, maybe you should take it elsewhere, i'm sure the honda-tech forum could use another member...

Just a FYI -- not trying to hate on or flame you, but the mod list in the tuning section is designed "in order" so to speak. Just follow right down the list and you should be all set (that's what I'm in the process of doing). Once you finish with the mods suggested for now, you can pick up where you left off (on the list) and get going from there.

Peace

Thanks dude, yea i know about the mod list but i wasn't aware that it was set for a certain order, and thats why i was asking what would be the next few things to get, cause like i said before i'm not doing to much to the engine, just a little to get it going
