I have the recirculation fitting for the SSQV, but how do I hook it up so it will recirculate properly? The hose the runs back into the intake stream is not long enough.

I had the same issue so I just bought a lenght of flexible heater hose and it was done.

I figured I had to just get a longer hose, but on the directions for installing the recirculation fitting it says attach the 1" ID hose between the fitting and the suction pipe. Is the suction pipe a different kind of hose?

Well on your intake you may not need the other hose fitting only the one you put in the BOV.
