i've been having problems with my SAFC, after washing my car, its seems that possible water got under the hood and shorted and reset the SAFC, i know, sounds wierd, anyway, i can't get the car to run right, think i need a new exhaust manifold gasket, but once i tried to hook the SAFC back up and set to where i had it, all went to hell and ran so rich it was sputtering and shooting flames so i disconnected it from teh ECM, now i have a check engine light telling me about a bad knock sensor, and when i drive the car when its been sitting for a while and everything was cold, it runs real well, didn't boost as high as before, but still went fine, after driving for a few minutes, all went to hell, EGT's would skyrocket as if it was a tach, can't figure it out, can hear the turbo spool and can read the boost level as normal, but something's missing, i dunno what the loss of the SAFC did, or what but my car is running like #### for the time being, don't know what to do, could really use some good tuners help, wiseman, anyone, the turbo is a S16g and a 255 fuel pump, no injectors, i know i know, i need injectors and possibly a AFPR, but it was working great before boosting to 19psi without a problem, sorry for teh length, i just really need help with this, sucks driving!!!

A very common problem is that either you could have accidentally changed the settings in the SAFC, or they changed by themselves. Accidentally moving the selection off of Karman would certainly cause what you are experiencing. Check that out first, then go from there.

thanks, i'll give that a look to see if thats what happened, anyone else have any opinions on what might have happened, i know it hard to answer a question about a car you haven't driven to get the feel, just wondering if this happened to anyone else, thanks
