O2 eliminating downpipes

If you get an O2 eliminating downpipe:
-Where do you plug in the O2 sensor?
-Will the car run smoothly?
-Will you get a check engine light?
-Any smog issues?

-How does the performace compare to a ported O2 sensor housing?

An o2 eliminator does not in a literal sense get rid of the O2 housing it just removes the the stock one for a more free-flowing unit. THe O2 sensor goes in the same place and everything else about them is the same. No CEL no smog issues.
