I was wondering if anyone has any first hand information about the XS 16g killer turbo - I am looking to buy an upgraded turbo for my 1997 GST and the local performance shop said that this is the best 16g turbo on the market - Is this true or is this shop just trying to squeeze an extra 500 dollars out of me. -

I am sorry if this question has been answered before - I have done a search and I can't find it -

Thank you for all the help and information!

The turbo is worthless.

Just get a regualr big16g if you want one.

I really only use my car for daily driving - and the occasional race if another "race" car pulls up next to me at a red light.-

So I want to have a turbo that will spool up quickly, and that the 16g killer turbo was so supposed to spool up faster than stock - Is that true?

Does anyone know how a regular 16g turbo (like the one on turbochargers.com) without being clipped compare to the 16g killer turbo? (As in spool up speed)

Sorry if these questions are stupid but I just don't want to waste 1500 dollars on a turbo that acted the same as turbo that was 700.

You should look into the "BigT28 Killer" from www.turbochargers.com....

My friend roasted 3 of these things before getting a green. He did lay down 320hp to the wheels on pump gas though.

If you want a ball bearing turbo go L1R or Slowboy Racing GT10. As I said I roasted my 16G killer and it wasn't worth the money. It did spool up faster than stock. A Big 28 also wouldn't be a bad choice. :thumb:
