That doesnt seem to make sense at all? It should hit the frame before the fender?

The pulley is hitting on the frame under the master cylinder.

I have Jays Alt Rec Kit for my 6-bolt in a 2G.
If I remember correctly on the Alt mounting bracket there is a spacer bushing that you put the long Alternator bolt thru. You probably have the spacer on the wrong side.
The 2Gs have even less room then the 1Gs, and I have about 1 inch between the pulley and the frame.
Not sure if its just me or what not. There is no way you can move it over just a 1mm to get it to not touch.

Found it. Just went to Jay Racing's website. It says it can run off either set off ribs on the crank pulley. Just move it over to the inner one, and do the same for the water pump pully. And tighten the bracket to fit.

did you have to remove your intake manifold to install this?
