got a question on a pretty much stock 1g

ok guys I am trading a friend of mine my mustang for his 92 tsi awd. The car is in the shop getting the engine rebuilt right now. Here is my question will a FMIC like the dark slide racing intercooler be a good match with a big 16g turbo? I only ask this because I am planing for the future. The car already has 3" exhaust from the turbo back but other then that it is stock.

I just want to get some of my bigger purchases for the future out of the way while I will have some extra cash to spend. I will of course be getting larger injectors, MBC, and a AFC, and a 255LPH pump to help out on the fuel part.

The turbo, intercooler and MBC won't go on the car untill I get the fuel weaknesses in the car taken care of and the break in is complete.

Any help would be appreciated.

My advice is to DEFINATELY do the Fuel System first. I'm using a 7CM 16G on my 1G, with a stock fuel system (I ran outta money). I've only hit fuel cut once, but it scared the bejeezus out of me.
 
Well as I have stated I am going to buy but not install the turbo and intercooler untill the fuel system is taken care of. I have had too many friends blow engines and have their cars run reall crappy by not paying attention to the hole engine but buying the big turbos and turning the boost up untill the engine screams and gives up. I am even concidering the 20g turbo but am leaning twards the conservitive side and looking more twards the 16g.

I am really looking at running low 12s to high 11s eventually. Do you guys think the big 16g would be would be realistic for these times or would a 20g do the job more effecently?
 
Now on to my next question would that dark slide racing FMIC be large enough to cool off the air comming from the 20g or would it be prefered to have alittle larger intercooler?
