ok heres my situation, i own a 96 rs with a few mods. i am in the process of buyin a gst with a blown motor for $500 from my bosses brother (needs the money). so my original thought was to buy it, and rebuild the motor from the block up with all proformance parts, i was planning on puttin 1k a month into this motor and just work on it for like 4 or 5 months. then once it was completed i planned on workin on my rs once agian 1k a month for another 5 to 6 months to make it a full show car. so in a year or a little later i would have two cars one for proformance and one for looks.
well some one suggested that i just take the gst and put in a new stock motor. and then sell my rs and use that money for my gst. and redue the motor then.
my whole thought though is why buy a motor that im gonna tear apart and put new parts into anyways, its like buyin the motor twice. so i was wounderin what every ones thoughts and suggestions were.
thanks

, thats why i wont be giving out his name or location, the deal is almost done, like i said its my bosses brother, and for lack of a better word he is a crack head/pack rat with storage units full of stuff he refuses to sell so he needs the $500 to pay some of the storage fees. he would never have the money to fix that car. so its kind of a win win situation.
