ChargedAir 2g AFR

To my knowledge, ChargedAir has discontinued the 1g afr, but I was just on their web site today and they have a new 2g afr, a direct bolt on for the 2g. Does anyone have this unit on their car or has anyone experienced it?

the website may not be an accurate indication of availability. but its seem like you can still buy both.

I just ordered the 2G. The website still lists the 1G. The person I spoke with on the phone, said the product is complete bolt on. And will take 5 -10 minutes to install.

I will let you know when I get mine. The only problem with me is, that I wont know how to tune My car. Damn does anyone know someone in the DC metro area help me tune the car. I cant afford another dyno session, at least till I buy an MSD ignition.

I will probably have to raise my Fuel settings up before I install. Oh and I am going to install cheapo plugs that I can foul up.

The "1G AFPR" is actually 2G AFPR + an adapter plate for 1G rail now.

How much is a fuel pressure gauge to put on it? Does it bolt right on? How does this part compare to the Buschar unit?

My brother in law just received his 1G AFPR from Charged Air. It looks just like the 2G model, just uses an adapter. I'll let you know how installation goes - might be a while though.

Really? By looking at the pictures off their website, I would not have thought that. Keep us posted I am thinking I will just spend the money and get an Aeromotive and have a fitting welded on my fuel rail.

Well since everyone is curious..... LarryD is right. I have not gotten my FPR from them. And they have not charged my card. I ahve called at least a dozen times. With no response

This FPR looks like the best to buy, since its custom for the car. I really want this FPR, but I am not sure if I will ever get it.

So basically its been over a freaking month and nothing from them. What are they telling you when you call or are you not getting an answer from them? I would buy there product if I knew when I was getting what I ordered from them. It's to bad because they are really hurting there image. I guess they don't understand how to run a business.

Since bashing is not allowed. I am not bashing them, just posting my experience.

They do not pick up, it goes to voice mail. And I leave my number. I have not received 1 call, since I ordered from them Feb04. The bad part is I really want this FPR, and need one, since my 3000GT is down for now.
