I was wondering if anyone knew what the diameter on the factory exahaust system on a 95 talon turbo. I would check but there is snow on the ground and i really dont wanna get out in it. I am also asking this because i am gonna make my own test pipe and i need to know what size pipe to use. i have a machine shop so this wont take me any time or money.

i've heard like 2 1/4 outside diameter and 2 inside diameter, BUT you can just make a 2 1/2 inch test pipe and make oval holes to attach it to the stock system, that way you can make it fit on the stock system and onec u upgrade u can use the same one. that's exactly what i did, Phantom Roadworks is where i bought mine from, and they used oval holes on the flanges and that made it so i could hook it up to my stock system, and it still fit when i got my 3" on. good luck, latez

its like 2 and 1/8th hehe...
if you are going to be upgrading later on down the road but dont have the cash now Id just suggest hollowing your cat for now if it really bother's you...if not then why are you going to put a test pipe on?

Hollowing out the cat wont give staight through flow. it will be pushed into the cat and then bounced off the other end and mess it all up. so thats why i am wanting the test pipe. I am also upgrading.

i know i just thought you felt like you wanted to put a test pipe in... i was confused cause you didnt say you wer getting a system as well, sorry.

use the size you are upgrading to then, because you are going bigger right??? otherwise, where is the upgrade?

i think i am going with a 2.5 inch turbo back eventually so i will rig me up a 2.5 inch test pipe. thanks for the help guys
