2g mas, 720's, afpr, and safc. Manageable?

Well my pistons came yesturday so I am excited. I'm about ready to reassemble the block.

So now to concentrate on other things. I just got a 2g mas, and already have installed a walbro 255, and the spoolinup afpr. I will also be upgrading my fuel line right before the filter and replace it with a 6an line to get rid of the banjo fitting.

I know the safc can only lean things out 50 percent. And I know the 2g mas on a 1g will make it run 25 percent leaner. So my question is will 720 cc injectors work with this setup? Or am I going to have problems running pig rich.

I found some 720's from darksideracing for a good deal so I really want to get a set. I will also be running an L2R as soon as I my 14b tuned with this setup.

well if the 2g mas will lean it 25% then u could figure 720 would be flowing like 540. If u had smaller injectors, u would use the afc to richen things back up. Since one leans and the other does both you should be fine. And if the afc can lean up to 50% then u could lean down to a min of 360, which is less than stock. the mas would further lean to 290, which is incredibly low. Now if the mas richened the mixture it may become a problem.

If anybody thinks this is fuzzy math, or has better info, feel free to correct me.

screw darkside racing. They have yet to send me my intercooler pipeing that didn't get sent with the kit i ordered back in july. Recieved the kit in august. Still no pipes. They longer respond to Emails or phone calls. Screw them.

What kind of initial safc settings should I use?

I ran 720cc injectors, hardwire walbro 255hp pump, 2gmas(only 18% leaner), 45psi base fuel pressure, and 24psi(boost) on pump gas, AFC was set at about -10 to -15% on low throtle and high throtle was about
-30 going up to -25% by 7500. and it still ran rich. I payed 400 for mine but I found 720 ball style injectors for $400.

I would start at 0 all around and use your data logger and tune for 2-8 knock and timing around 18deg. Remember the AFC speeds up/slows down the air flow signal. good luck.

Had my heart set on a 20g but Im having trouble finding anybody to build me one. I was supposed to go to Kevins and talk about it today but he never called me...that sucker
