Still hear the BOV?

If you dump the air from the BOV back into the intake is it just as loud of a whhhssssshhhhhppppsshhhh sound?

No?? I have my BOV routed back in and I can hear it just fine. I always get the ricer comments like "dude I heard your blow off valve" and crap like that. Its not as loud as and atomosperic vent but it's still very audible. More so with the 2G than the 1G

Yea, I hear mine, and it dumps back into intake, but is louder when vented to the air.

I have my Greddy BOV vented back into the intake and its still annoyingly loud.

I vent back into the intake and people can hear mine just fine and they always freak thinking it's the coolest thing they've ever heard ( ya, I live in a small town)

the atmosphere vent is louder but the intake vent is easier for air fuel ratio. I jsut hacked my dump tube to eliminate the restriction and have been able to increse boost. The loss of the dump tube also created a louder BOV sound.

personally i couldn't care less about the sounds as much as the way it runs...just my 2cents worth

I actuallly prefer a quieter BOV. I was just curious if that would help to silence it.
