ok i finally put my magnecor wires in along with some fresh NGKs.. all very straightforward however the KV85 wires are fatter than the stockers and won't fit very well in the retainer brackets on the valve cover. i had to take them out and now the wires are laying on the metal of the valve cover. this just came to my mind.. since the valve cover gets soo hot when the car is running, will this burn or melt the wires that are touching it? should i dremel out the brackets and put them back in there to get them up off the metal? thanks.

That's strange, I have the same wires and mine fit. It's a very tight fit I might add, but none the less I got them to fit some how.

yeah i just went ahead and dremeled a bit.. i didn't take much off but when i was forcing two wires into the 'double' portion of the bracket, it snapped in half. oh well. i still left it in there, its not going anywhere, its tight when its seated correctly and the wires are up off the metal for now. i think i'll stop by the junkyard and see if i can grab a new bracket. thanks.
