what is all this about tightening or "crushing" the spring in the BOV, is it better and louder or what. How do you do it or what do i need to get, $$

It's purpose is to hold more boost. Not to make more noise.
All you need is a vise. Be careful not to "overcrush" it

crushing is just compressing hte spring which regulates the amount of boost the bov can hold, allowing more boost to hold. sounds has nothing to do with the reason this mod is done
