i wanted to know y the n1 sounds so wierd/bad? i have a couple of videos of them and they sound bad to me. one is a idle clip on a 2g talon and the other is a eclipse driving away from a driveway, they're from people from www.dsmtalk.com it seems to be the most popular but it sounds bad, the sound get better with more mods i'm guessing?

i cant post the videos tho

I don't know what the clips sound like but the N1 sounds awsome. I have it on my 2G(just the cat back). It has a deep tone to it. It's not raspy or tin canny sounding.

I've heard it and I must say it's one the best sounding exhausts i've heard on DSM's. Granted all dsm exhausts do sound somewhat similar, the N1 has a little grunt that makes it sound extra cool :D

I have the N1 d/p and cat-back and it sounds way different then with just the cat-back. But what may sound bad to you may sound good to others

What you hear on a video will sound slightly different in real life. I wouldn't be too concerend about exhaust sound. All DSM's sound different than other 4 bangers out there, its a unique sound us DSM's have.

I think you posted 2 threads on DSMtalk about this, dude, don't worry about it, the N1 sounds great you won't be disappointed. Remember one of those vids has a turbo back N1 with no cat, that will make it louder with no cat, with a cat it will sound more subtle and smoother.

the other thing Ive noticed is the N1 sounds different on the FWD and AWD.. dont ask me why but Ive had the same setup on both cars and on the AWD it just sounds throatier and a lil louder. Im thinking its because the piping is more straight..

That is one of the best sounding exhaust I've heard yet. It does sound different depending on the way you have your car setup. If you run no cat it sounds really different from a car with a cat (that I've seen). But dsm's I've seen with the N1 sounds really nice.

nah i just didnt like the sound, i know its 1 of the best performance exhaust there is

doesn't it neck down in the muffler tho? I don't know how much this affects performance but i've seen pictures of it somewhere on here
