Hey guys, just recieved my gizzmo dual stage tach recall light and launch interface. I'm trying to hook up the light right now. But the prob. is it says to hook up the green wire to the tacho sinal" in from the ecu side" and the blue wire to the tacho signal "out to the tach. But the wire diahgrm i' lookin at looks like the signal goes from the tach to the ecu and not ecu to tach So my ? is. How and what would I need to do tap into the tach to make the stock tach work with the shift recall light? Thanks for the help in advanced

Het guys, i just bought the gizzmo tach recall light. i'm trying to look up what wire hoping out of the ecu to cut into to contol the tach. The gizzmo interfere's with the tach to control it so you can see the display on your stock tach for setting the rpm you want the light to go off at. I tried the wire gor pin 58 and no luck the tach didn't work at all. Does anyone know what wire behind the guage cluster controls the actual tach? Any help Would be appreciated. Thanks

Found the prob. but not really. On my wiring diagram there's something in between the tach and ecu. Says elc4speed automatic transaxle/ meter and guages. So i took out the guage cluster and cut and installed it behind the cluster middle harness white wire same as the wire for pin 58. I have no clue why it didn't work by the ecu but it works exactly like it should spliced behind the cluster.

One thing the FSM doesn't do is show how the wires are routed. It would be really helpful to have those diagrams but I'm not sure anybody besides the design engineer and the factory that made the harnesses does.

Since it seems that your question was more about how to make the factory tach run off this device going to the gauge cluster wiring harness would be logical.

The connection at the ECU is an endpoint so connecting to it wasn't going to reach the gauge.
