Looking to install boost control on my TSi, but I'm not sure if I should get a manual controller or an electronic one. I don't want to fiddle around in my engine compartment all the time, and while they do make manual boost controllers that you can control from the driver's seat (www.machv.com sells the hallman ES Evolution, for example), I hear those aren't safe.
Of course, the electronic boost control would be best, but I plain old don't have 400-800 dollars to spend on something like that at the moment. What's the call, should I save up and get an electronic, or get a manual boost control (if I don't have to change it that often then it wouldn't be a problem, but a buddy of mine changes his boost every day from stock to 15 psi and back -- very irritating imo), or get that hallman that I can use in the driver's seat, and as the same guy said, risk blowing up my engine?
