you would also need to port match your head to the IM or put on a 1g IM to be able to use them effectively.. I suggest buying them and holding onto them until your ready to use them

4k for a 6 bolt?? thats a rip off dude.. I dont give a crap what its got done to it.. Hell when I was building my 6 bolt I was going to go with Crower rods and Ross pistons and it was still only about 2000 for the whole thing.

well check this out some dude is cutting me a deal all 1g parts empty block, empty head, intake manifold, bov, throttle body for $500 shipped he said the block has over 100k miles on it, will this affect anything? should i ask any certain question?

dude do this... get the following from a 1g, better if it was from a 93-94. IM, TB, Head, and CAS. Get them all ported and polished. Save money for Web Cams and build the head it self with oversized valves and new guids and retainers. Get the timing belt done ( hell if you want do the balance shafts while your down there )and have the IM slotted for the two extra hoses that your 2g has. (AMS does this with install for like $250 ) and to finish it off with ARP head studs. Take about some bad a$$ improvement.

Thats exactly what i want to do with the balance shafts removed. But i would like to also get a torque converter ( cause the cams wouldn't be great with stock tranny ). I would also like to do a 1g big rod swap and 1g valve cover. Then close it up and seel it off. Be done with that for awhile and haul your balls off. I love the engine itself!
