1G secondary fuel pump with afpr ???

I was wondering if I could use the old inline holly pump out of my old wrecked stang as a secondary , would it be better or even work right at all this would be matched with a fuel pump rewire and afpr I dont want to buy a new 1 when I got something laying around thatll do the job besides I like making my own stuff its more fun
