Installing a boost gauge.

I got an autometer boost gauge and am having a hard time installing it. The tubing that came with it says 1/8 but I cant figure out how to T into it. I bought a variable T-connector that you can cut to fit, but its still to big to fit in the tubing. It says that it fits 1/8 but it doesnt. Where did you guys get your T-connectors at or did you buy some additional rubber tubing instead of using the plastic tubing that came with the gauge.

here's how mine is done, although there are a lot of different fittings you can use to hook a boost guage up.

i pretty much did the same throw the little white tubing away an do it like that

I used the same size vacuum hose that you tee off into and got an adapter for the back of the gauge and used that instead of using the plastic hose they give you.

The plastic hose won't fit onto a 1/8th barbed friction fit hose, you need a brass crush-washer thingy, like what came with the gauge for the attachment at the gauge end.

I went to autozone and bought 1/8" vac. hose. I used that as the connection between the T fitting and the nylon hose. The nylon hose fits perfectly inside the vac. hose so it worked great.
