Anyone here using a Top-Bottom FMIC?

I'm looking at the Griffen core that RRE has for $475.It's a 18"x6"x2.75".

I was just wondering if anyone was using a Top-Bottom IC from RRE or one similar? I know the diff between the 2 types and that most people run a Side-Side.

Hey man,
My buddie use's a top to bottom ic maybe a lil bigger than that and ran a 13.0 with a stock engine and 14b with exhaust and intake, 550's and afc. he also had bent press ic pipes kinda ugly but workd to get him to 13.0 he thinks with tuning and more runs he wil be in the 12's for sure.. my opinion i wouldnt use that ic with anything bigger than a 20g turbo im planing on saveing the money and getin a indy street core and pipe kit, with a 50 trim set up.

They are decent ICs for the money. I ran that same setup but with the spearco cores and went mid 10s. They dont cool quite as good as the side to side style though. In my opinion they are fine unless you are trying to run a fairly large turbo outside of its efficiency range.

Thanks guys,for now i have a 16G(ported,34mm mod) not installed yet.I already have IC pipes.The Indy,ADFX,DSMotrsports,ect...Are all good IC's,but I don't want have to sell my pipe kit just to run theirs under the headlight.
