I was just wondering if there were any differences between a 1G O2 housing and a 2G. Such as size or use of a different size O2 sensor?
Thanks

it is bigger to start with and is better engineered for more strength, in addition to just being bigger all around allowing for more porting

do you know roughly how bigger is a 2g bigger than a 1g. Becuase I want to bore my 02 senser from my 1g

After taking a close evaluation of my old 1g housing and my 2g housing you're probably not going to get a 1g housing up to 2.5" size without coming close to structural failure. If you're not going to be modding the car a lot and you don't want to spend the money (I got my 2g for 30 bucks shipped) You could port the 1g as much as you can and just polish it as smooth as possible. I would recommend buying another one to practice on though. Nothing sucks more than thinking you're going to get the car modded, messing up, and having to wait till you get another part just so it will run. Besides, you can get a 1g housing to practice on for next to nothing.
