Where to get things anodized black?

Is there a place that can anodize metal (Like tial wastegates and BOV's) so it would be black? I know that I could just paint my bov black, but I would prefer to anodize my tial wastegate black this way it looks cleaner and the paint won't come off. I want to do this because in CA when you get pulled over and they pop your hood the first thing they look for is shiny parts the only 2 things that are shiny is my wastegate and BOV. So does anybody know of any places?

Talk to some paintball shops in your area for Anodizing places.

Cheaper alternative would be powdercoating.

Do you think powdercoating the wastegate will last long? What temps is powdercoating good for? The wastegate gets just as hot as the exhaust manifold.

The wastegate's insides get pretty hot, but not the top that comes colored from the factory.

You could always buy a new top from TiAL, whichever color you want.

Other options include swain coating, hpc coating, and some others.

no offense dude, but callifonia has got to suck like a vacum... so is it because you drive a sport car, or just any car? do they not allow any modification. that is such racid bull SHlT, cops are so dumb they woudl probly give you a hard time about a polished valve cover or fuse cover... pigs

It does suck to live in CA. What sucks even more is the first weekend that I installed my 20G, IRC FMIC, and wastegate is when I got my first modified smog ticket. So now I got to put it back to stock. When the cop was checking my engine, he only really tripped about the wastegate, BOV and the manual boost controller. And this was cause all those things are shiny. My IC pipes are already painted black. I'm seriously thinking of rerouting the hold release latch and then putting a broken cord on the one that is under the steering wheel and telling the cop that it just broke yesterday.
