can everyone post what sites they have to get everything from Jspec engines, to fully rebuilt complete ones, anything to help me out, from cheap to unaffordable, id like to have several options before i start to plan

I'll hold back the smart ass comment for this one....

Just get a normal 4G63. If you're as broke as the rest of us, it wouldn't be worth the work. You'll be just as pleased with this motor, trust us.
 
extra work? as far as i knew there was no extra work, at least if you get the jspec tranny and transfer case as well... and i thought there was bearly a difference between the two, cyclone manifold , isnt the j spec a 16g?
 
they don't all come w/ 16g's. the only true difference is the cyclone manifold which most people argue is completely useless. well actually the ones w/ the 16g's have different injectors i believe but good luck finding one. Your best bet is to find a junked 6bolt and build from there. You could even find one that isn't junked for a fairly decent price. Don't bother w/ "Jspec".

looks like a lot of honda engines to me on your site man....not exactly what I'd want in my talon. My integra, however, is a different story. Can you give me prices on an H22A1 and a B18C. What other honda parts do you get?

you need a cherry picker, a T/E/L thermostat housing, modify your cooling system to match your car (water cooled or air cooled... simple proceedure...) and you have to know how to get it lined up right. very very easy, i did it without ANY wiring problems. the jdm ecu plugs right into the american harness (heck, i put a 92 ecu on a 93 harness, no problems... the ecu mounts are different if you get a g-vr4, thoes are the ONLY differences i can really say matter. you will want to redoo all your vaccume since the intake is different, or you could just pull your old intake off, leave it hanging over the window and drop the new motor/tranny in and bolt the old intake up to it... simple stuff

meh, its damn worth it, how much does a engine/tranny/ecu/harness/manifold/turbo cost for a USDM product? 1300 for a JDM unit sounds damn good guys.
 
it would require an ECU unless you have a SAFC already installed, it would run terribly rich (510 injectors on the big 16g JDM engines) and its maps are setup for more boost.. not to mention they're all eprom/eeprom units :)
 
jdm has 510's? this would mean a 16g as well correct? got a link of the people who sell the one with 510's and the 16g and ill be in heaven...

and i would go with the safc, i was planning on one anyways

Few JDM engines are known to come with a 16g turbo. The importers are at the mercy of what is sent to them. You may want to consider going with a reputable shop and just spending the extra money on a rebuilt US spec 6-bolt as someone suggested above. Unlike the Honda motors, JDM doesn't get you much in the DSM world - it's not considered an upgrade.

Getting an engine with a 16g is a crap shoot, unless you are pushy.I am looking inot getting one and told them what I wanted and they told me they would see what they could do for me.But I might cost extra unless you don't tell them exactly what it is they are giving you.
