I am running a Frank 19C with the following mods on a 91 AWD:
255 Fuel Pump
Apexi AFC
ACT2100
3" exhaust
UIC
Archer Header

I have run a best time of 13.1 at 103 on this setup. This turbo blows a lot of hot air, so make sure you have a FMIC before you blow the money on this thing (I don't and it sux). My suggestion is a big 16g.

Having the air box cut and located under the hood will contribute to hotter air temps. I noticed a big difference in air temps (cooler), when I relocated the air filter away from the engine bay (as per pocketlogger). See my pics in the gallery.

Over 20psi and those things are dead in the water. They make an ok street/pumpgas turbo but really drop the ball if you turn up the boost with race gas. The G-wheels are better suited for 20+psi applications. Infact you are cheating yourself if you never run over 20psi on a G-wheel.

With a Frank Jr. you really will never get excellent times at the dragstrip. You'll be able to beat up on 5.0s a little on the street but that's about it.

Someone did recently run 11s with one though. To my knowledge he is the first and only person ever to do so.

hmmm, good advice Batman. I guess that is just an experience thing?? From the way those(Frank turbos) are talked about they are next to god. Glad someone said that, I can toss that off my wishlist hehe :)

Robert at FP invented the Frank turbos... The Green & Red are the end results...

Beyond wheel trims I don't really know anything about the Frank 1-6 or whatever, except that the TD06 ones (1-4) surge a little (that's hearsay). I'm just talking about the "Frank Jr.s", the 17C and 19C. Robert didn't invent those and I'm not sure how they came to be called "Frank Jr.s".

Prolly becuast they came out of Texas Turbo... or just someone using the same name. I'n never heard anything good about the JRs at all..
