Calgary,
I was just wondering if anybody has ever heard of wrapping your UICP in stainless braided material, like brake lines and such??? I heard this could keep the stock rubber from expanding, thus, keeping pressure in. Do you really lose that much pressure from the rubber swelling? Or is it just a lot wiser to buy an aftermarket UICP? Any comments/suggestions would be very beneficial. Thanks...:dsm:

It would be easier to use hardpipes.

Stainless steel lines are expensive. And not stainless stuff would rust. Not to mention stainless lines would tear into the stock rubber and wear it down over time.

a guy in our club ran his starion without the hood on to watch those pipes (look the same as ours). The expansion was VERY noticible with the naked eye.
