Fluttering Turbo

I have been having this strange occurance when my turbo is spooling after 4000 rpm. I hear the air flowing through my intake, and the air makes a fluttering noise as it is being sucked in. I know it isn't the BOV because it doesn't happen when it is being released, only taken in. This never did it before, only in the last 2 months. Any ideas?

Thats maybe because it is being sucked in?

:laugh: Interesting analysis, but when it's sucking in at lower rpms, it sounds normal. At higher rpms, it flutters, and you can feel it in the rest of the car.

Could it possible be your filter element? I'ld suggest taking it apart and possible the intake pipe to check for any debris.

I'd check your compressor wheel to. Maybe you hav a chip or somethingtaken out of it. Could be completely wrong but it might be worth it if just to check for shaft play
