was wondering if with this BOV id have the option of recirculating, and venting, and if anyone has had clearance issues

I can't speak from experience, but a little research on the Greddy website shows a picture of the Type-R next to Type-S .. except for a few spelling errors the site appears to have most of the needed information.

By looking at the picture it appears the Type-R has the same mounting options for recirculating as the Type-S. I hope this helps.

FYI... Keep in mind that the Type-R is technically designed for race applications, I've never seen one on a street driven car (but you could be the first) ... and if you're in need of the Type-R you likely have the resources to relocate the flange on your IC piping to achieve the desired fit.

It uses the same flange as the type-s. Yes it's a race BOV, so that means it will not open properly at less than 15 psi. Plus you gotta find a good spot where to mount it because it's HUGE. And yes it can be recirculated but you need a reducer coupler because the outlet is huge.

I'm going to be running one since I can't run below 15 psi on my turbo. They are HUGE! Here's a pic of one on a street driven DSM with the same turbo (60-1) as me:
