hi my car exterior suck scratches everywhere my paint color is x13d which is black i look several spray can but im not sure if they do a good job. any of you use this ones.

if your car is black let me know waht you use thank

when i bought my car, the paint looked HORRIBLE. yuck

a: bought a buffer and some real LIGHT compound and buffed out the scraches in the clearcoat. (dont buff it on too high of a speed, or it will burn the paint. be sure to cover the plastic on the outside of the car, its not easy to control a buffer.)

b: used touchup paint, a toothpick, and credit card to fill big scratches and nicks. (an auto body guy told me to do this...kind of use the credit card to squeegie the paint level with the surface. takes practice. the toothpick is for filling big scratches. the touchup paint will look a lil hazy, but the wax will solve that problem later along with a little hand buffing.)

c: turtle wax paint restorer. its a black wax with some really cool "chip stick" stuff. let your car set in the sun (yes your heard me) after washing it throughly. the chip stick works better when the surface is really hot and clean. proceed to use the chip stick as directed to fill in all the big scratches where some SOB may have jealously keyed your car (sorry about the spent up anger). once that is done, find a cool place and put the paint restorer on. goes on like regular wax. let the car sit for about an hour after waxing, then apply another coat of your favorite normal wax.

d: you car should now look about 20x better than before. enjoy the new look, i do.

On my old 95 black gst I used a crayon to fill in the scratchs that looked white, then used a rag to clean the excess off. It should last for a while unless you use a pressure washer to clean it.
